Dr. Nicole Rogers

Nicole joined the School of Forest Resources in 2021. She has a PhD from the University of Vermont, an MS from Oregon State University, and a BS from the University of Maine. When she's not in Nutting, you can find her kayaking, gardening, or exploring the woods with her pup Wally. 

Mary Rose Holland, MS

Mary Rose grew up among the rainforests of the PNW, and studied these ecosystems at Oregon State University. She moved to Maine to study different perspectives of ecological silviculture. She is interested in studying disease dynamics and holistic forest management strategies that promote biodiversity. Her research is focused on the long-term impacts of beech bark disease complex, compounding infections, and management of diseased beech populations for diverse and complex forests.
